CHRS Project

Common Human Resources System (CHRS) is officially up and running at SF State University! This system-wide upgrade brings your employment, payroll, benefits, and leave information together in one streamlined place — making it easier than ever to manage what matters to you.

You can find CHRS through the SFSU Gateway and select the HR Self-Service tile. This will take you directly to CHRS.

Jump in, explore, and don't hesitate to ask for help along the way.

What is CHRS?

The Common Human Resources System (CHRS) is a single Human Resources data management system for all 23 California State Universities and the Chancellor’s Office. CHRS is based on PeopleSoft 9.2 with modifications to make it work for the CSUs. These modifications have been designed by experts from all the CSUs, and are being built by the Chancellor’s Office.

Before and After CHRS
