Accessibility

Human Resources is committed to making its [websites and applications] usable by all people by meeting or exceeding [state and federal mandates as outlined in] the requirements set by Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and use the Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) specification. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) prescribes requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. SF State [CHRS Recruiting is] partially conformant with WCAG 2.0 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. [Human Resources is actively engaged with the Chancellor's Office and the vendor to bring CHRS Recruit into full compliance.]
