Available Programs

Ethics and Conflict of Interest (Online)

The Ethics and Conflict of Interest Code Training Program provide information regarding CSU ethics statutes and regulations. This training provides a working terminology for conflict of interest, an understanding of the Political Reform Act of 1974, an approach to evaluating your economic interests, an analysis of potential workplace conflicts, activities for contractual conflict and incompatibility, and other tools. This training program is mandatory for all CSU employees who are required to file a Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700 or 700-U) and optional for others.

 

Sexual Harassment Training for Supervisors (Online)

Human Resources has notified the employees on our campus in classifications that have one ore more supervisory responsibilities to complete a two-hour interactive training course on sexual harassment mandated by AB1825, California's new harassment training law. This course is offered by Workplace Answers®, an independent provider of on-line legal training. The course is interactive and has been customized for the CSU so that it includes challenging, interesting, and realistic workplace situations. To register for the program and receive an e-mail with your user name and password, e-mail aeiou@sfsu.edu. Include your full name, email address and the name of the program for which you are registering.

 

Employee and Student Information Security (ESIP) (Online)

The Employee and Student Information Security (ESIP) training is a 20-minute on-line program consisting of a tutorial and quiz that all faculty, staff and student assistants must complete before they can access employee and student data. The program is designed to familiarize all employees with privacy issues and guidelines for the use of employee and student data maintained on our campus. All employees will be prompted to take the ESIP training when they access web sites that contain employee or student data. The training is mandatory and must be completed before the web site can be accessed.

 

Coaching for Performance (Online)

Coaching for Performance is a 20-minute web-based training program designed to guide you through the annual performance evaluation process. Campus performance guidelines require the evaluation of the performance of all staff and administrators each fiscal year. The evaluations are due in Human Resources by June 30. The program is voluntary although encouraged to facilitate effective coaching. To go to the Coaching for Performance training online, click here.
