Performance Management is an ongoing process that fosters two-way communication between supervisors and employees. This includes performance evaluations, goal-setting, professional development planning, coaching, and feedback.
MPPs: How to Get Started
- Get familiar with which Collective Bargaining Unit each of your staff belongs to. Submit a ticket here for any questions.
- Invite your staff to submit any accomplishments, inputs, or highlights they may have that they'd like considered in their annual evaluation (Optional).
- Draft the evaluation using the appropriate Draft form and discuss with the employee — this may take 2–3 meetings. Note: be mindful of the review periods required by each CBA:
- CSUEU (Units 2,5,7,9) employees have 10 work days to review
- APC (Unit 4) employees have 14 days to review
- Teamsters (Unit 6) employees have 5 work days to review

- Finalize and submit via DocuSign. Start the DocuSign process only after finalizing.
- Have questions about the forms? Attend Office Hours on Tuesday May 5, 12, or 19 at 11–11:30 AM. Submit a ticket here for any questions.

Please Note: You may only grant or recommend Permanent Status at the last Probationary Employee Review.
