Virtual Open Enrollment & Regional Benefit Fairs 2021
Overview
Open Enrollment 2021 is now open and will run from September 20, 2021 - October 15, 2021
All 2021 Open Enrollment form submissions will be processed completely through DocuSign and the forms will be available beginning September 20, 2021.
Open Enrollment is an opportunity for you to review your current benefit plan elections to ensure they continue to meet your needs and those of your family. You can change your benefits, update your beneficiaries, and check your mailing address. Additions, changes or deletions will become effective January 1, 2021. Please remember to update your benefits, if needed, and submit documentation prior to the closing date.
If you don't want to make any changes to your current benefits, you don't need to do anything. Your current elections for these plans will automatically continue for plan year 2022. However, if you want a Health Care or Dependent Care Reimbursement Account, you must re-enroll every year.

It’s time to register for the virtual Open Enrollment platform.
In order to attend the SF State virtual campus Benefits Fair, and use the Open Enrollment platform, you’ll need to register.
Registration begins September 8, 2021.
The website will be available throughout Open Enrollment, and it will also host our campus Benefits Fair.

Your SF State credentials are not required as you are able to use whatever email you elect . You will need to create a password - you should not use your SF State password – and may need to select “Forgot Password".

5. Review the Summary
6. Submit
7. Registration confirmation will be emailed to you
On Monday, September 20th you will receive an email with the link to the virtual website. When you visit the website for the first time, you’ll be asked to complete your profile and verify your settings. You can also set the accessibility option should you require assistance.

Regional Campus Benefit Fairs for CSU Employees
All active CSU employees are invited to attend virtual campus Benefits Fairs (you only need to register once for Open Enrollment, the Regional Benefits Fairs, or both). During the events, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the Exhibit Hall and visit provider’s and campus HR booths — where you can video or text chat with providers and our campus HR team, view or download brochures and watch videos, or take a few minutes to relax in the Zen Room.
The exclusive website will be available throughout Open Enrollment. The campus Benefits Fairs are held regionally, and you may attend any or all of them.

NORTHERN REGION VIRTUAL BENEFIT FAIRS
Chico, East Bay, Humboldt, Maritime, Sacramento, San Francisco, Sonoma
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 6 | 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 7 | 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 8 | 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
