Manager Workshops – June 2021

Emotional Trauma -- Friday, June 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM via Zoom

After a traumatic event, our default response is common and understandable: “I want peace. I want things back to normal. I want all this over.” However, in tumultuous times, it may take longer to regroup. Content includes:

  • Ways to better connect with themselves and others, especially during unsettling times
  • Gaining control over their inner circle and the mindsets that accompany that gathering
  • Learning where they are on the journey to emotional wellbeing, and ways to get unstuck
  • Taking power back from the “trigger” by choosing a different response
  • Breaking stigma, deception, and the isolation that can accompany emotional upheaval
  • How your availability is your currency
  • How to understand where your team is on the grid of shock/denial/curiosity/acceptance
  • How to engage and better understand the emotional landscape

 

Times of Uncertainty -- Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM via Zoom

Recent times have been full of unprecedented challenges, resulting in fear, uncertainty, and far‐reaching changes in the workplace. This training will review how to learn from the experience, seize opportunities to grow, and care for others who are struggling with the “new normal.” Content includes:

  • Discover how to relate to change in order to gain from it
  • Identify what core needs must be met during the change and after the change
  • Recognize the signs that you or others are struggling
  • Learn ways to help your team get back into balance

Boosting Staff Morale – Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 1:00 PM-2:00PM via Zoom

From time to time, you might find your staff suffering low morale. Budget cuts, declining profits, and layoffs are often the culprits, but reorganizations, canceled projects, and extended work schedules can contribute to a poor attitude as well. This session will help managers recognize low morale and offer suggestions to keep employees motivated and engaged. Content includes:

  • Signs and causes of low morale
  • Impact of low morale on the organization
  • Tips for improving morale
