New Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification
Under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, United States employers are required to complete the Form I-9 for all newly hired employees to verify their identity and authorization to work in the United States. On July 17, 2017, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released the new Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. Effective September 18, 2017, the new Form I-9 must be used for all new hires. The new I-9 form is available under the New Hire Forms section of the HR Forms webpage. You may use the new form prior to September 18, 2017.
